Shed Security: Guarding £10k of Gym Gear with a £5 Padlock
People load their garden rooms with expensive gym gear and laptops, then rely on a cheap padlock. Here is why you need real doors.
The £5 Padlock
We see people spend serious money kitting out a garden office or a home gym. They drop a couple of grand on a Mac or heavy weights.
Then they stick a cheap padlock on a thin timber door and hope for the best. You wouldn't leave a two-grand laptop in a standard shed, so why build a home office like one?
A Crowbar Job
Any bloke with a pry bar can get into a timber summerhouse.
A heavy shove and the screws just pull straight out of the soft wood. The padlock holds, but the cheap timber frame gives way.
House-Level Security
We don't fit shed doors.
We fit heavy aluminium sliding doors and solid French doors. They run on heavy tracks and use proper multi-point locking systems, exactly the same as the front door of your house.
Lock It Down
When you pull the handles up on our doors, the building is locked tight.
It means you can leave your tools or your tech down there overnight and not worry about it. Nobody is prying a thick aluminium frame open.
