Resin Bound vs. Block Paving: A Durability Comparison
The Battle of Surfaces
When choosing a driveway surface, longevity is key. Block paving has been the standard for decades, but it suffers from weeds, sinking, and loose bricks.
Why Resin Wins
Resin bound surfaces are permeable, meaning water drains through them (SUDS compliant). This prevents puddles and flash flooding. Furthermore, the seamless finish means no gaps for weeds to grow.
Maintenance
A simple jet wash once a year is all that is required to keep a resin driveway looking brand new, whereas block paving requires regular re-sanding and sealing.
